We're Back!

We're back. We've been back, but due to problems that Sebastian, our diabetic cat has been having, I haven't been able to post, let alone have I felt like it. And did I mention that Aeryn caught a skunk, ugh!

If anyone has any suggestions, we'd appreciate the help. He stopped eating. He's been to the vet, he's had a sub-cu already, he's been on an IV, he is now being force fed baby food. There is no known reason why he stopped eating.

LCA 6 was a success, Kiefer Sutherland is a delightful gentleman and a huge hit with the fans. Howard Gordon was a real treat. It was wonderful to see Alan van Sprang again, he wasn't able to make it last year. And another blast from the past, Dean McDermott, looking as handsome as ever, just ask Mary *G* And Carlo Rota, the epitome of a classy guy. I think everyone had fun, I hope so.

I love Toronto, it's just a cool little city. We *finally* got to go to Casa Loma it's very, very different from Wilson Castle, in Vermont, where we visited this summer. I never did get around to finishing that trip report...hmmm....*G*

And we saw the Concorde on a leg of it's final flight It was quite by accident, thank goodness, because it was a glorious sight, very moving.

Got my hair braided before we left, went with a layered corn row. Took about 3 1/2 hours. I'd like to try box braids, that takes about 5 hours, but I think I'd like that even better. And I like the look of having other colors blended in, that seemed really cool too and he uses synthetic hair, so it isn't all that expensive.

It's wicked windy out there tonight, rain coming down very hard. The Direct TV doesn't go out that often, but it's been pretty shaky tonight.

Hope everyone is well :)

I bet you had a marvelous trip. Any pics? Do you still have your corn rows in?

Hi!

It's great to be back, now if Sebastian would just feel a bit better, I'd be lots happier. He's at the Vet today for a pickmeup.

Yes, I still have my "rows" in :)

Hey Lady! Finally getting around to seeing your blog here. Adding it to my favorites as I type.

Yes, this LCA was one of "THE BEST". It just went incredibly smooth. Tiring, but smooth.

That blast from the past Dean looked incredible, very handsome. He really took me by suprise and blew me away. I'm still trying to recover! ;^)

Hope Bass is getting better!!!

Don't be a stranger! Call me!!!

Okay! I'm back again. I just had to comment regarding Toronto. I love going there when I get the chance.

I've been visiting there for the past 17 years and have yet to see the whole city. On the trips I've been to:

CN Tower, the restaurant there "Top of Toronto" as it was then, Casa Loma, Ontario Place, Ontario Science Museum, The Royal Ontario Museum, Centre Island, Eaton Centre, The Pantages for "Phantom" in it's final year, Hummingbird Centre for it's opening gala in '96 and more. I know there's more to see it's just getting the time and money to get it done.

Other trips to Canada include Saulte Ste. Marie, Ontario (camping trip in 98), Pinery Provincial Park on Lake Huron (multiple family camping trips), Tobermory, Ontario, Barrie, Windsor, Ont. (only 45 minutes from home), multiple visits including the annual International Freedom Festival celebrating Detroit and Windsor unity, Halifax, Nova Scotia and Mill Cove on the south shore to visit with friends. Took my daughter on the train there for an 8 day trip to visit friends. Either stay at bed & breakfast or rent a cabin. Just gorgeous there. Quiet, serene, peaceful.

Anyways, enough for now.
