"This is classic. Marking the 35th anniversary, NFL Network will air the movie Heidi on November 17, the same day 35 years ago in 1968 when the Oakland vs. Jets game was interrupted in its final minutes so NBC could begin their movie Heidi on time. During the course of those final minutes, Oakland scored two additional touchdowns, winning the game. NFL Network's presentation of the movie will also include a handful of interviews including then NBC exec Dick Cline who made the fateful decision to switch to the movie, Curt Gowdy who called the game. And if you never did see the ending of that game, NFL will air the game footage of the two touchdowns as well."
