A little more on the Yule Log. Okay, John Lindsay wasn't Mayor of NYC in 1953. Amazing how many of you know that. Also, the Yule Log kicked off its long run in 1966 (when Lindsay was Mayor, I think). Now for a little more updated news on this log - it's available for the first time this year on the internet. Yes, even if you don't get WPIX, WGN or another Tribune owned television station, you too can watch the yule log by going to http://wb11.trb.com/news/local/wpix-yulelogjumper.htmlstory, where you can get the log and a little theme music to boot. Yes, it's a little pixelated, but step far enough back from your pc and it looks great.
