Thanks Ith and Susan for the good wishes for the Bass man :) He had to go back to the hospital last night and this was after he'd had a sub Q treatment earlier in the day. Our vet is a saint, having gone in on Sunday to give him one. On Monday, he was doing good, went Tuesday morning for a treatment and the Doc was a little concerned about his high sugar count, thought we might have to up the insulin later in the weekl Well, came a bit sooner! *G* 'Bass is doing good, I talked to the nurse a few hours ago and visiting hours are from 5-7. The hard part is, our vet isn't 24 hrs, so he had to go up to another facilty about a half hour away. We didn't take him back to the same emergency place, we decided to try this one after the vet at the other place blew me off last night by telling me that maybe it was his time. Fuck you. He'd never seen the cat, what a complete idiot who didn't even bother to have an ounce of compassion. I was going to just blow it off, but I've changed my mind. zwhst did he bother to become a vet for? The money? Would it have been easier to become a lawyer?! (John will not like that, I'm kidding) I have physical therapy and we're hoping the weather holds out. We *may* be able to bring him home tonight before the weather turns. Garrett is certainly getting a lot of driving under his belt the last few days, which isn't a bad thing.
Thanks *very* much :)
