Sebastian passed away yesterday morning around 2AM. Thankfully, he didn't suffer too much. And he saved me the awful decision of having to take him to have him put to sleep. I'd just gotten off the phone with the vet, we'd felt it was time, we didn't ant him to suffer. I got off the phone and he passed away within minutes. He was a real fighter, a real cutie and I miss him very, very much.
I wanted a black and white kitty and when we were finally able to buy a house, we looked in the paper for a local rescue that had black and white kitties and we found some out on a farm in Jackson. He was so cute and so lively, I fell in love with him at first sight. I raved about him so much that a coworker went and adopted his sister.
Spike, our yellow Lab that passed away 4 years ago, loved Entenmanns. I used to hide it on top of the refrigerator. Spike loved cat food too and the cats hated when he'd gobble up all their food. Suddenly, we'd come home and find any Entenmanns that I had down on the kitchen or living room floor. Actually, I'd find an empty box. We couldn't figure out how he'd gotten it off the refrigerator until one day we caught him and Sebastian at work. 'Bass would jump from the counter across the room to the top of the fridge and Spike would wait under the fridge as Sebastian nudged the box over the side into Spike's waiting mouth! I hope they're having lots of fun together.
