IT'S 'VEX & THE CITY' FOR B'KLYN FANS
"A Manhattanite moving to Brooklyn was a big deal 15 years ago, but not anymore," said Jim Cornell of Park Slope. "All of us out here know what Miranda and her Manhattan-centric friends don't know: People in Brooklyn have a life!"
Oh please. Those of us in Jersey, yes, Jersey, not Joisey, have endured this kind of "abuse" for years. It was bad enough before when everyone thought we all tawked like we's was from north joisey and the south didn't even exist. The Sopranos managed to bring all those stereo types to the forefront again. As much as I love Jersey, it ain't the city. The city is the city and the show is "Sex and the City", not Sex in Brooklyn, aka the 'burbs. I'm sure the people in Brooklyn have a life, so why not get on with it and stop worrying about a fictional character on a TV that only has a few episodes left to air.
