Survivor was a touch one this week. A few months ago, I'd read a small blurb in a magazine that Jenna's mother had passed away. When I saw that she was going to be in the All Stars version, I'd hoped it hadn't happened when she was out there.
Rupert - What were you thinking? Hasn't he ever had a basement that flooded?? I felt sorry for Jerri. As my son pointed out, they all knew he was wrong, but it was better to let Jerri and he go at it. Stupid I think, they had an opportunity to make things easier on themselves and didn't take advantage of it.
Does it seem like there's a lot of alcohol on this show lately?
Did anyone ever teach Alicia basic manners? I dont think Jenna should have been there either, but that wasn't the time to make her feel guilty. And Big Tom's solution was a selfish one, sure, don't bother him, y'all just suffer without him, don't go letting any bad news ruin his day!
Angel
Continuity?! Lacking. Slow, slow, boring. No mention of Cordy. Next week - puppets
SG-1 - 2 well written episodes in a row, first time this season. Still not enough Jack though.
Monk
Good, as always. Well written, nicely acted. Okay, so you're pretty sure you know who it is, but it's the how of it that's well written.
I watched an episode of Perry Mason this week. My mother watched that show religiously. You weren't allowed to speak when that was on. I don't think I appreciated it as much back then, but this was a good show, well written with good acting. Turns out this particular episode that I caught was the last one of the series, "The Case of the Final Fadeout" with Dick Clark portraying the murderer and Erle Stanley Gardner as the judge and Jackie Coogan as the prop master.
Take the Perry Mason Quiz for fun.
