Jonathan from Dogsnot Diaries sent his via E-mail, so I'm making it a separate post here and adding the pictures he sent
I had first pick of a litter of chocolate labs. I visited those pups every week from the time they were born, trying to decide which one I wanted. It's tough, believe me. When you're looking at 8 puppies, they all look so darn cute, and you really don't care which one you take home, you just want to grab one and run.
Well, time after time, a pup named "Milo" was always awake when I got there, and would always come to me, chew on my shoe laces and reek havoc while his brothers and sisters were sleeping. Now I've read dozens of books on dogs and picking the right one, and they all say that you shouldn't take the puppy that is the most active. Supposedly, they are the hardest to train, and believe that they are your master instead of vice versa. Ain't that the truth.
I obviously opted for Milo, now named Chase, and he has been a handful since I picked him up on that snowy evening, and took him plowing all night with me. No regrets, I love him to death.
This is a pic of him with his brother, Tucker. They are inseparable.

Am I weird? I think I like puppies more than babies.
Great story, Jonathan. There may be nothing cuter than a puppy chewing on your shoelaces. Well, mouthing them, anyway! :o)
Thanks again, Mickey! I really like the idea of publicizing the dog adoption. I think I might add that to my site.
