Birthdays!
Well, Herbie has been here and gone....at least this time it won't be as long as the last! We had a big party for Garrett's 22nd birthday on Saturday night 
and then our small family party Tuesday on his actual birthday
and then Wednesday was Herbie's birthday!
What did we do for Herbie's birthday? Went on the ferry over to Delaware and bought our wedding bands :) (No picture yet)We went with white gold because the ring that I want to get is prettier in white gold. I have to hold off on the ring for now, but that's okay. Between paying for the wedding and building two houses, we kind of have our hands full.
LOL! Beard and everything!
Yup, he was in the process of building the two when we got back together. He has twenty five acres. One is going to be rented out.

Posted by: Ith on May 26, 2006 11:06 PMI only help occasionally when I'm theere, but yes, Herbie is building it himself and most of the time *all* by himself! I know I'm biased, but the man is truly amazing. As far as living arrangements, we're going to split between the two places. During the urchin season, he will be there. During other times, he can fish out of here on someone else's boat, he'll pull his out of the water up there and dry dock it. I start my 25th year next month - unbelievable - but, true. There's no sense in leaving there, I have the medical benefits etc, that fishing doesn't offer and we made out okay with this arrangement so far.
