Carnival of the Dogs

Here we are again at the end of another week, and of course that means it is time for another Carnival of the Dogs! Mickey is still out doing all the things that go along with getting married, so Angel, Jacqueline, and myself will once again be your hosts.

As always, if you would like to be included in this week's carnival, or in any of those over the next few weeks, just send all the normal information to me at jeffsbabb(at)att(dot)net, and I will be happy to add you.

We start out this week's carnival with a heroic and inspirational story from Polly over at Life is a Buffet. You simply must read her post about helping out a dog that was suffering at the hands of a brutish lout. Please, go read By the Authority Vested in Me.

On a lighter note, from srp's beautiful blog, Melange, we are treated to a picture of Angel and Jackie's good friend Max with his summer haircut. Go see how handsome he is. Max: My Summer Do

Renee of Small Dogs Paradise is back this week with a lot of great information and tips in response to the question, Dog Allergy : Am I Doomed?

Stray at Daily Straying brings us Friday Pet Blogging: Melting and Moulting. A great couple of pictures!

Alex from Have Passport, Will Travel is a first time carnival participant, and he shares with us the passing of his beloved Greyhound, Mickey. Alex has several posts involving Mickey's struggle with cancer, and they are all very touching. Please go take a look at Farewell my Friend.

Doyle from A Cool Change, has an entertaining post this week entitled Thicth
. If you wanna know what that word means, you better go on over there and read about it right now. Trust me, you will be happy you did.

Valerie at Val's Bien writes on a topic I can fully appreciate being that our small beach town is in the grips of a heat wave. The title says it all.DogGone Hot.

And finally from Athenamama, Jackie and Angel spend a little time together on a Pillow Built for Two .

I am sure we will get more submissions as the weekend wears on, so be sure to stop back on by for more great dogs later. I will most likely be out for most of the coming weekend, so if you send me a submission, and don't see your entry soon afterwards, fear not, I will get it posted as soon as I am able.

If you did send in a submission earlier this week, and I failed to post it, feel free to send me an angry e-mail with all the pertinent info, and I will add it asap.

Also, be sure to go see the Friday Ark at The Modulator for more dogs, and other interesting animals.
