Carnival of the Dogs

It's Friday again already, but so far submissions for the Carnival this week have been, well, light. But as always if you would like to be added you may contact me throughout the weekend, and I will update the Carnival as time permits.

Ian at Duckpond returns this week, and and has good news about Taffy, among other things.

Over at Athenamama little Jacqueline steals the show.

Mary of The Drunken Lagomorph shows us what can happen when rabbits and dogs meet a Roomba. It's great!

Christine of BTW this week shares her Bestest Buddies.

Well, that's it for now. If there are no more submissions I would like to thank Mickey for having me over to guest blog the Carnival in her absence. It's been fun! And if you ever need me to do it again, Mickey, just ask!

Carnival of the Dogs

Mickey has asked that I watch over the Carnival this week, and of course I am more than happy to oblige. So, without further ado, lets get on with the Carnival of the Dogs...

Ian at Duckpond shares some stolen moments.

Susan at pages turned presents Puggy Gin.

And of course, from Athenamama my own sweet Jacqueline.

Mensa Barbie wonders if she packed that little flight blanket.

A Stitch in Haste presents Friday Diamondblogging: Joys and Their Toys.

JimBobby sez Ol' Spot is involved in a War on Squirrels.

So far that is all we have this week, but if you would like to be added you may contact me throughout the weekend, and I will update the Carnival as time permits.

See you next week!

Best Singles Ad Ever!

Got this via E-mail from a friend this week -

This has to be one of the best singles ads ever printed. It is reported to have been listed in The Atlanta Journal.

SINGLE BLACK FEMALE seeks male companionship, ethnicity unimportant. I'm a very good-looking girl who LOVES to play. I enjoy long walks in the woods, riding in your pickup truck, hunting, camping and fishing trips, cozy winter nights lying by the fire. Candlelight dinners will have me eating out of your hand. I'll be at the front door when you get home from work, wearing only what nature gave me.

Call (404) 875-6420 and ask for
Daisy,
I'll be waiting...

Jane Austen Quiz

S&S
The Sense and Sensibility type: These delightful
(:-P) people have their feet set firmly in the
Eighteenth Century. Devotees of satire and
irony, they are far more likely to be reading
Alexander Pope or Jonathan Swift than Lord
Byron or William Wordsworth (no offense to
these men; all four have merit). Generally
reserved and self-controlled, they quite often,
though not always, resemble Elinor more than
Marianne.
