Mr and Mrs!

BrideandGroomkiss1.jpeg

I'm back for a couple of days. We discovered that me being without a car wouldn't be such a hot idea, so my son and I drove back and I'm just picking up a few supplies and heading back in a couple of days.

Thanks to everyone for the good wishes!!

Carnival of the Dogs

Mickey is married by now, and most likely off enjoying her honeymoon. (Wink wink, nudge nudge) Therefore you Carnival of the Dogs people will be putting up with Angel, Jacqueline, and myself once again as we present... well.. The Carnival of the Dogs!

As always, if you would like to be included in this week's carnival, or in any of those over the next few weeks, just send all the normal information to me at jeffsbabb(at)att(dot)net, and I will be happy to add you.

Here are the submissions we have thus far...

T.Bird on a Wire has some interesting ideas about Adam and Eve's pets.

Doyle over at A Cool Change has a rather Hitchcockian post this week entitled When Birds Attack. It's a little scary, but well worth the risk of reading.

This next submission can only be prefaced by the words of the man who wrote it: "This is the finale of a heart-wrenching series of postings made over 10 days. The author is Magazine Man. The previous posts, for backstory, can easily be found on the site. The man is a hero, in the truest sense of the word." So, head on over to Somewhere On the Masthead, and read "In Which We Review The Butcher's Bill".

Bill, that Pop Culture Gadabout, has another weekend pet pic, and it reveals Kyan Pup is still in that pool.

Don is new to the carnival scene, and has been kind enough to submit a post from his beautifully illustrated journal, Idle Minutes. There he shares with us the duties of his Welsh Corgi, Rosie: AKA “Bark-a-Lounger”. Definitely worth a visit.

Valerie of Val’s Bien is back this week with her own Perfect Summer Morning . What a wonderful thing to share.

Michelle is the proprietor of the beautiful blog ~Tiny Bubbles~, and today she introduces us to her cat Bella's dictionary fetish. Yes, Bella is a cat, and she thinks dictionaries are hot, but there is a picture of a good looking dog in the post, and that is all it takes to meet the criteria for inclusion in the Carnival of the Dogs. :)

Jack, president of The People's Republic of Seabrook, unveils The Official State Dog of Texas. Which reminds me, I need to call in a favor owed to me by Arnold in Sac-town, and get Jackie and Angel declared the official state dogs of California. (Arnold owes me big time).

And lastly, over at Athenamama, I let you in on a little family secret. My baby Jackie is also well known to us as, Jacqueline: Ear Cleaner Extraordinaire.

If you sent in a submission, and I failed to post it, feel free to send me an angry e-mail with all the pertinent info, and I will add it ASAP.

Also, be sure to go see the Friday Ark at The Modulator for more dogs, and other interesting animals.
