I just learned about this, maybe many of you already know about it. Now, I know that there are times when an officer may need to shoot a dog in self defense. but these stories are horrific. I'm linking to a site that is asking concerns parties to E-mail them and they will be bring the E-mails to court with them at the day of the trial for two of the officers. They have a link on their site where dogs owners recount the horror that they faced and I'm warning you that it's very sad, very horrible. It really makes you question the mentality of the people involved, I'm doubly horrified that this doesn't even seem like it something that could have happened in the United States.

Thursday Theme: "Dogs, Dogs, Dogs !!"
Yes, I made it on the plane! Yes, yes, it was a short flight, but still...Funny, because the first flight I ever took was from NY to Bangor and here I was doing it again, well almost, this time it was out of Newark, not NY. I actually love to fly, especially at night, but I have so much trouble getting on the plane and this time I was tense because it was going to be a small plane, only 37 seats. But, with Sawyer in hand (my stuffed polar bear - Lost fans will understand) and armed with Xanax, off I went!
The flight from Newark was effortless, we even arrived early. It's a bit of a pian that they make you arrive so early and then it was a hike to the gate at Newark, I actually had to take 3 people movers. And then it snowed while I was up there, gorgeous! Of course the electric going out at 3:30 AM was a bit daunting, but I had a warm body to snuggle up to. I always seem to have some adjusting to do when it comes to the air up there, it makes me so sleepy! I was in bed soooo early!
The flight back....well...the flight was good, but we had a over a two hour delay, that they didn't post until the last minute. There were only 8 of us on the flight back, so I was able to get a bulkhead seat and stretch out a bit. The crew was so sweet though, they all waited with me until my bag was retrieved.
And this week brings a new schedule, so there may be a little adjustment in when I get the Carnival up. I usually post it when I come home from work early Saturday morning, but now I'll be heading off to work on Saturday mornings, so it may still be early, or it could be later. Yeah, I'm so decisive.....*G*
